Maria Alejandra Rubio Rojas is a first-year student in the Ecotechnologies PhD program at the Jozef Stefan International Postgraduate school. She is a Colombian social scientist passionate about promoting care and health for the planet and all its living communities through the use of participatory methodologies. Her research is framed within planetary health, behaviour science, and citizen science, and is mostly inspired and fueled by her outdoor adventures while climbing in stunning locations and meeting fellow nature lovers—those who embody bravery, intelligence, kindness, and joy.
