Nadja Nolte holds a Master of Science degree in Plant Biotechnology and is currently pursuing her PhD at the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School. She is a researcher at the Department of Biotechnology and Systems Biology at the National Institute of Biology. Her PhD focuses on using long RNA-seq reads to investigate the expression of allele-specific genes in polyploid plants. She has a special interest in bioinformatics and its application to plant research. Nadja enjoys road cycling, hiking, running and reading a good book in her free time.
