Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 7 pm CET , Theatre Hall of AGRFT (Aškerčeva 5, Ljubljana)

When science meets theatre and scientists share their passion for science excitingly and unconventionally, science becomes more accessible and engaging to the general public.

Join us for the EUTOPIA Science Slam on 23rd of November 2022, during the EUTOPIA week, organized by the University of Ljubljana. Nine selected researchers from Universities of EUTOPIA, who submitted their posters to the EUTOPIA Science Fair, will compete in sharing their short (5 minutes) stories about their research to a diverse audience. Instead of formulas and graphs on slides, they will be allowed to use different objects and body language, and if necessary, also a silent assistant. The Science Slam will be in English. Their performances will be evaluated by the audience and the jury of (science) journalists.
The event will be streamed, so anyone can contribute to the ranking through a televoting system.

Slam will be moderated by science journalist Maja Ratej and stand-up performer Aleš Novak.
